Your son is right

Batman was always my childhood hero. As a little kid growing up in the mid-late 70s, watching cartoons and re-runs of the TV show, Adam West WAS Batman to me. And always will be.

I'm all-in on Gal Gadot as WW. When they first showed a pic of her as a promo for BvS, I thought it was a huge mistake. Then she ended up being the only good part of that movie, and really continued that streak with the new movie. I hope she helps elevate JL as well (which still doesn't look very good).

As far as radio play goes, I guess she's more of a one-and-a-half-hit wonder. I still hear that song she did with Owl City once and awhile.

Yeah, those are great too.

I'd rank the top 5: 1) Black Panther, 2) Doctor Strange , 3) Cap (any costume except the one he wore in Avengers), 4) Loki, 5) the Mark 1 Iron Man suit (the one he built in the desert cave)

Who in the record and/or broadcast industry did she piss off? Pretty much any song from Emotion or Emotion B-sides would be perfect radio pop hits, I never heard a single one get played. Glad to hear the new single is, though.

Have you listened to records on a Crosley? They are pieces of crap. I have one collecting dust on my work bookshelf.

Meanwhile, these sub-sub-par pop songs by Perry get tons of airplay, while Carly Rae Jepsen has to do Target commercials to be heard.

Those aren't raisins in that cake, it's pickled figs.

The Hiketeia is one of my all-time favorite covers. Story is pretty good too.

This is the best news I've read all day

Wasn't this the first time Fraser got all beefcake for a role? I seem to recall the ads and was surprised at his physique.

One of the best things to happen because of The Scorpion King was the review by Goldust and Booker T. "Not only am I the Scorpion King, but I am the five-time WCW champion, and I got a sword too!" https://www.youtube.com/wat…

The click-bait article "Why Hollywood wont hire Brendan Fraiser anymore" didn't mention any laughing

Plus, the punchline to his extremely long joke was incorrect anyway. He claims the characters say "You can ride my tail anytime", which isn't what they say at all in the movie.

I usually get the meatball sandwich at Gioia's, its pretty good. Got a turkey sandwich there once that was terrible. Hot salami is good, but not my go-to.

Ha, did you do that "angry New Yorker" shtick when you worked there? The waitresses at the old OT Hodge's diner used to do that too. And there used to be a deli on Olive called 2 Cents Plain, where the old guy basically yelled at you the minute you walked in the door.

Blergh!
