I love how Jezebel doesn’t even edit their first sentence about diversity, though. All these commenters here are lambasting Stewart, when the problem is the shitty Gawkerverse blatantly lying to its audience yet again.

All of this outrage over a misquote. Nice, Nice.

Except she didn’t say anything about diversity. The headline was wrong. Variety corrected it later. She was answering a question about women, not people of color.

Still not great, but the original article was incorrect and her comments were about gender equality and not diversity.
