Simple: giving a shit when no one else does.

This is one of my all-time favorite articles I’ve read on Jalopnik. I can easily see me coming back to it to read again sometime down the road. Greg is the type of guy I aspire to be.

I don’t dislike the car itself, but what I really like is the purist salt mine it will have struck. Good for them.

Currently working on it.

That or the 3.4 L LA1 V6. My dad is currently driving my grandma’s old Alero, and the car is simply falling apart around the drivetrain, which is still rock-solid.

Pro tip: don’t buy a car at Walmart.

I haven’t been in a few months myself, I really need to fix that. Evidently there was a Vector there a bit ago and I missed it. They have a facebook page that is both handy and damning for when I don’t go.

Here’s some I took sometime last year at the Aliso Viejo, CA gathering. A bit of a trek for me, but the turnout is always worth it.

This was just about a year ago, and was maybe the third time my girlfriend and I had gone out together. I decided to pick her up in my ratty project E30 (‘91 318is / baby M3) and I remember being a little nervous if she would “get it”. Cosmetics are rough, with a half-assed matte green plasti-dip paint job courtesy

Not a fan of the gaping maw on the silver car in the photos, but otherwise I don’t hate it, surprisingly.

Maybe I get wrapped up in meta too much, but knowing that none of these  characters are in Ep IV was a fairly big hint.

Oof, that is some Grade A helmet-to-helmet contact.

Best keep Top Gear away from this thing.

Once again, we’re reminded that it’s not what you drive, but how you drive it. Great article that, while probably redundant for most of the regular readership, will succinctly explain this when linked to the uninitiated. Instead of trying to explain this to my relatives myself, I can just link them to this article.

Spoiler: he won’t.

This is hot garbage.

Just judging from the side view, I’m guessing the front will look similar to that Viper-based car he designed not too long ago:

A friend of mine in high school drove a red Porsche 944. It was a base model but had the Turbo body panels. He bought it in New York and drove it back (to Michigan), and it became his daily as well as something to work on with his dad. I got to ride in it several times and it was always a blast. I was close to buying

I used to work for an automotive benchmarking company like this, called A2Mac1. They’ve been in business since 1998, with main offices in both the US and France.

That’s part of my reticence as well, there’s always a couple mint E30 M3s that appear at C&C. Once mine is farther along I won’t mind bringing it.
