I would agree if VW didn’t lose something like $6.25M on every Veyron they sold on the last go at it. That’s a big gap to close. Better to close up shop.
so in the face of billions of dollars in losses, VW chooses to continue production on a money losing hyper car instead of a 3 row SUV, an inheritor to the microbus, next gen CC/Passat/Jetta, or even diving into the super-hot WUV (that’s a Wagon Utility Vehicle like an Outback) with crap they already make in Europe.
