from all aspects, I would prefer the later LT-1 chassis with the 6 speed and the raft of other upgrade, including just plain better styling. Motor wise, I would prefer the L-98 for its flexibility and cheapness of build options. 1991 would really be the sweet spot for me

I would totally daily drive one of these.

Hey, no argument. Everything is subjective. That being said, put a water bottle in the cupholders and they hit the climate control buttons and change the settings. Adjust the steering wheel and you might not be able to see the turn signal indicators (neither I nor my wife could make it work, but we’re tall people).

I’m going to dissent here. We had an A3 loaner for a few days while my wife’s previous gen A3 was in for service. I must say, for a woman who has limited active interest in cars one way or the other, she really came away hating the new A3, and she made some very compelling arguments about (frankly bad design choices

driven one.

that area of Portugal is relatively high seismic. They probably had to bore into the rock, anyway, so it just made sense to go full bridge instead of slope fill.

Bridges are like puppies; they’re a relatively affordable luxury and they’re cute when they’re new. But the cost of buying (or adopting) a puppy is about 1/100th of the cost to feed it, care for it, and vet bills over the course of it’s life. And if you don’t take raise it right and take care of it, and get it good

and poor construction done by the lowest bidder who undercut the other bidders by bidding the job at a loss and betting on ‘design errors’ to generate lump sum Change Order payments to make a profit. Generally speaking this isn’t much of a bet, since all the contractor has to do is make a good show at building

going back almost 10 years at this point.

I once posted a fairly modified Jeep CJ-7 on eBay. The eventual winning bidder was from Boston (I was in NJ) and he contacted me several times by email. I gave him my phone number and spent maybe two hours with him discussing the condition of the Jeep, the work done to it, taking additional pictures, really trying to

Subaru sells the lifestyle, not the car.

I never understood the allure of riding a motorcycle, and have no grudge against them. That being said, motorcycle riders are basically meatbags riding among 4000 lb steel hammers moving at high speeds. Why on earth would any motorcycle rider want to go out of the way to piss-off one of said high speed 2 ton steel

you can also order any custom color for an A3/S3 for $3500 directly form the factory.

I’m gonna stick my neck out, but I think anyone who would buy and A3/S3 is missing out.

I MISS my 2010 Passat wagon. favorite car ever.

this is a bit of a shame.

you really should add a 2015 Audi S4 - MSRP starting at $48,400.

I hate to break it to you, but that’s pretty much the way it has ALWAYS worked.

your withdrawal is refused. That car has the stink of Chris Bangle and must be hated on. possibly pissed on, too.

someone at VW has a fulltime high paying job doing pointless crap like this.
