I worked in the archive while in college, it was formerly a women’s college and had some of the most amazing pieces. One of my favorites was a “Chap Book”, from the 1800s, a woman kept a notebook of every single eligible man she met for ~15 years. It had their name, location, and little things about them, like

“could retain control of her own money”

Sadly I’ve discovered that women just don’t seem to be interested in whether or not a person is a freemason. I don’t know why I even bother going to the lodge anymore.

I really do hope that their idiotic demonstration gets invaded by every cosplayer this side of comic-con. praying beefcake misty shows up:

I was a freshman when Colton Tooley came on campus and started shooting. I was in my classroom and remember the professors and SWAT teams keeping us there while I cried and regretted my decision of coming to the US to study.

I’d be worried about the performance of the rich kids whose parents hovered over every homework assignment, paid for special tutors and coaches at every turn and hired consultants for the college application process to get them into schools that would be beyond their reach.

Unshockingly, the kid that I was forced (by my admin) to give a second major assignment to after he didn’t do the first one was a football player. So even at smaller schools, being a prominent athlete affords you some special privileges. At least the administration took my side when he didn’t do the assignment again

I remember one summer my mom had to go back to school to let a kid who flunked her class retake the final, because the kid’s mom bitched to the administration. He went on to become a pro baseball player, but every time I saw him on tv I always thought “you little shit”.

THE EARBUDS! They are the bane of my teaching existence. It’s so disrespectful. As if we can’t tell. And yes, it is always the men in my class with them in. It drives me crazy. Some annoying student behavior, like “covert” cell phone usage, is unisex. Not this one. Earbuds is almost always the guys.

Oh no, i think he means that feminists hate women by forcing them to work outside the home.

“Losing a generation of men” because of women. Um, yeah. My eldest son is in college right now and he cannot believe the level of stupidity his gender showcases on a daily basis. “Men” who stuff earbuds in and listen to YouTube, rather than the professor, then bitch and moan that their grade is low/failed the

Women only spend their money on shoes and handbags anyway!

“Respect for stay-at-home mothers has been poisoned by a toxic combination of the village elders’ war on the traditional family and radical feminism’s misogynistic crusade to make working outside the home the only marker of social value and self-respect.’’

Kimble and ruby send their love.

States with higher firearm prevalence in the homes also have higher rates of suicide by firearms. (Harvard School of Public Health, et. al.)

The way female performance artists are attacked and mocked in the comments section here is a disgrace. It’s as predictable as night following day every time I see one of these posts go up.

I like the look of this gal! This photo looks like a sick 80's goth-metal album. Work, Jex.

I had a surgical abortion almost a year ago and spent the rest of the day snuggled up with my boyfriend eating barbeque and watching The First Wives Club with a heating pad. Had it not been for the copious amounts of blood coming out of me, it would have been the perfect day off.

I for one cannot wait to read the scintillating comments from all the greatest minds of our era, about how cultural plagiarism is actually helping the people it steals from, because it gets their work out there to a wider audience.
