S2 of Bojack ended on a very positive note that could have easily sufficed for a series finale. It just felt like they had to undo all of the S2 character development to have a narrative for S3. It's a problem endemic to serialized narratives that overstay their welcome.

I was really hoping that we'd get a flashback of Mr. Poopybutthole being invited by a Sam Jackson lookalike to join the Vindicators in the post-credit scene. Dissapoint.

It's halfway to being More Orel.

It would've been really fucking funny if the lethality of the game was a lie and the Vindicators all still managed to somehow get themselves killed in ways Rick never quite expected ala a darker Willy Wonka. With the reveal at the end being that the party had places for all the members and Rick himself being

It felt like a typical half-assed South Park "debate" episode ending where "both sides are wrong!"

At this point, I just really want to know what the fuck is Jerry's deal. Beth and Rick's backstories, while vague, still paint a picture of a terrible family live riddled with divorce, abandonment, depression, substance abuse, and mania.

It was literally watching an old man gripe about the Marvel Cinematic Universe while he had a DVD of Saw playing on his TV that he wasn't really paying attention to. Except even less funny than that.

Peridot didn't say PD built the Beta kindergarten. Just that Homeworld did. Jasper emerges having been built for a leader that is gone and presumed dead. Remember that Gems are programmed with basic memories and identities before they even emerge, as Rose said in "Greg the Babysitter"?

Ew, Kevin isn't worthy enough to wipe Jamie's shoes.

Lori Petty would be my dream castng for Amethyst and Peridot's fusion.

A would involve her being so disgusted with the Diamond Authority that she can't stand her own identity anymore, and we've already had some hints that this was the case ("I'm not a real person").

Yeah, I don't know if they can get Aduba as a regular but if they want to redeem Bismuth it would be pretty easy to just have her stay at the Forge except for like, one episode a season and have them get weapons from her offscreen. That was basically the other way that episode could have ended.

The Temple Gem fusion (all five Crystal Gems together) has two faces, but not separate craniums.

They imply it, but it's told from Amethyst's point of view so they can't get technical. Instead Amy says that the Gems "suck up all the good stuff" so that they don't emerge as infants. Which leads me to believe there might be a more environmentally friendly Gem production model if you can find someone to babysit a

This. It would have Rainbow Quartz's coloration, name, and some features, but that's as far as the similarities would go.

No, Jasper thinks she's dead. She also thought Gem Corruption came from being lazy and chilling out on Earth.

My dream is for an episode where Peridot gets her weapon and it is something totally absurd like a slingshot or a bubble wand or a piano.

I'm in the camp that "the Gems are just space-age alien computers" and Fusion is linking two computers together on a network, which can spread a virus. You don't spread a computer virus by smashing two computers together.

It will die when Lion's nature is finally revealed. Until that happens anything is possible.

Yeah. I'm pretty certain Rose + Amethyst would have the same weapon, name, and color but they probably had radically different personalities and appearances.
