I believe it is, that’s more U.K., we don’t really use that in Australia, but I have spent a bit of time in the U.K. so I’m familiar with it. It’s certainly not nice.

I also didn’t realize how much weight that word carries when directed at a woman, like in the U.K. you hear people call each other that and it’s sort of no big deal. If you read an Irvine Welsh novel, that sort of explains it, but then, he is a Scot. For the record, I have never called a woman that, and don’t plan on…
I think it depends on what part of the world you come from, I can tell you that in the U.K. And Australia, for example, you’re more likely to hear a bloke called that, and I had never heard of a woman being called that until I moved to the States.
According to NBC, the FBI even said during the investigation that even if there were classified materials sent, it would actually be ok as long as the people sending /receiving them had the appropriate clearance.
Bloke here, just came to say I don’t blame you.
Yep. How many Hillary haters got there because someone paid good money for them to? Think they couldn’t do the same for Tim Kaine?
And let’s not forget why this election has been so particularly horrible, could it be...I can’t put my finger on it, what’s different about it this time? Oh, I know, it’s because one of the major parties elected a truly horrible person...and it’s not Hillary. Could anyone really say with a straight face that this…
Good point, and I would also add that anyone who says they voted by disillusioned, but can’t see that reason they may be disillusioned is because of 8 years of obstruction by the opposition party, well then I really don’t know what to say.
This is something I think a lot of people misunabout her. It drives me crazy when I hear people say there’s just something about her they find untrustworthy, but they can’t put their finger on what it is. First of all, she’s a lawyer. Second, she learned quickly in her time as First Lady that if she ever did say…
I think it was a combination of him thinking it was unnecessary, but also I think he really believed on some level that if he got people fired up enough by doing his stupid rallies that by the time any of this stuff came out, a majority of voters would just sort of shrug their shoulders. And the scary part is, he was…
For me, this was absolutely the most troubling thing he said tonight. This is banana republic shit. America is supposed to be better than this.
She did say unless someone in her household needs her, and you know, tomorrow is Columbus Day, and the kids will be home from school.
I don’t understand this either. By what measure did he do well in this debate? He attacked his opponent relentlessly? Ok. But I think a more important measure of a debate should be does the candidate answer the question, and answer it well. Can anyone say with a straight face that he did that? Once again, he sounded…
Could be, but based on swing state polls even before this week, it doesn’t matter, all Hillary has to do is win Florida, and it’s over. Also, Hugh Hewitt tweeted last night that there is more and even worse oppo (oppisition research) coming.
Remember in 2012, when Obama didn’t do so well in the first debate against Romney, and a lot of people in the press were accusing him of acting like ‘really, I have to run against this guy’? Can you imagine how hard it has been for Hills to not act that way in the last few months?
Is that so? That just blew my mind.
I think we can all agree Kimberly is being terrorized at work.
What I hear when people say that: “I don’t want to get off of my high horse and admit that not only am I wrong, but I’m also uninformed about the issues, and I like the morally superior feeling I get by saying I’m above the partisan politics of the two major parties.”
Not only that, but he made no effort to even answer the questions, he kept going off on these bizarre tangents, so that several times Holt and Clinton had to say “right...but we were actually talking about...”
And how do you think your refusal to vote is changing anything?
