are you saying you don't believe Maher when he says that one of the things he does not like about religion is its treatment of women? Because I actually think he's sincere about that.

Maher is anti-vax? I've not heard this.
who is the leadership of the Atheist community? I have never heard of this.
I have to say, he is pretty fair to guests on his show with views different from his own. Have you seen how Fox News treats people they don't agree with?
I think when he/she said accountable for their actions, what was meant was where are the members of their own religion who should be standing up this extreme minority that is giving them a bad name. I'd like to see that. I know that those voices do exist, but they are too few and far between.
Just about ANY other western nation is a better example. We have WAY too much intermingling of church and state in the U.S.
I get the sentiment of why people are rushing to defend Islam, because I think they see it as "here's some white guy picking on these people, and they already hate us", which is noble, but as a global community we can't be willing to turn a blind eye to the flaws of any particular group of people just because they…
I see what you did there, Emma Gravedigger for Halloween. Good on you.
those actions are deplorable as well, and Maher regularly says so. But when he does he is not called racist. That doesn't make sense to me.
I saw the show where he said these things, and I really don't see what the big deal is. First of all, is it what he said or how he said it that has everyone so upset? In other words, I interpreted what he was saying as basically: it's time for moderate Muslims, the ones who just want to live their lives in peace like…
should be interesting to see if this passes, how long it will take the Supreme Court to overturn this. Ginsberg might get on a plane to Arizona to personally slap someone in the face.
I believe it's on Netflix
it always bothered me that the location was obviously London, but the voices were horribly overdubbed with American accents. Now I know why!
I have to disagree with you. I've owned every generation of iPad, and I really think the Air was a dramatic improvement, for the size and weight alone.
spot on. I think what you've described sounds a lot more like religious freedom to me.
I was just in France, and apparently it's illegal there to wear any religious symbol in a public school. Can you imagine if that shit happened in the States?
you noticed this too? I wonder if their viewers have figured this out. I'm going to assume not.
papa john's cannot even be called pizza, because 1. It is terrible and 2. The guy on the TV ads is a hillbilly from the south. Everyone knows real pizza is made by a fat guy named Tony from Brooklyn.
no, you wouldn't, because we have real pizza here.
I have noticed a common thread among the Fox News viewers posting here, they're all saying "we don't know enough about this yet, so we should be scared!" Um, no, actually Ebola has been around for a whine now and some very smart people do know a fair bit about it, and they're all saying everyone should calm down. But…
