When I’m not working on my car, this is how I spend my time.

I’ve been skating for nearly 4 years now doing 55+ and really leathers are overkill in most situations. A few scrapes every now and then don’t really justify the price unless you are racing competitively regularly. Plus, most of these people don’t have the cash for a decent set of race leathers, which by the way are

This could also be extended to a new class of open wheel racing like formula vee. Having amateur electric racing would be pretty cool to see

Don’t get me wrong, I think electric boards are cool but they are way to pricey for what the are. If these boards were 1/2 the price, I might even say they are competitive. For 1k to $1500 though, they don’t beat bikes or a regular non-powered board though. I may not be as fast on flat land on my downhill setup but on

$1500 though... my car was $1400

You don’t need brakes... footbrake4lyfe!

Honestly, I thought it was an old VW warm up regulator at first...

You guys are focusing on the wrong issues. The biggest issue with this car is the future head ache you will have with the CIS. At least the plasti-dip stopped continued rusting and the self tapping screws are neither here nor there but goddamn should anything even slightly move on the distributor or there be a vacuum

Beat me too it

Isn’t it an MK1 escort?

I think what really needs to happen is a small windscreen in front of the drivers face, no need to invest into a huge canopy that could potentially trap a driver when all you need is a piece of poly carbonate between them and debris

Ovals are what make the sport unique and separate from F1, otherwise it would just be american F1.

My want has been strong for the Saleen since the first time I saw one in Bruce Almighty and didn’t know what it was

Each time I see one of these, I feel the need to yell “VANAGON!!!” Who the hell wouldn’t love to live out of their car?

Just helped a friend get one of these and damn was it a good deal. Half the price of his wrecked ‘03 Tacoma but with a better engine, clutch, exhaust, and paint job.

Alas, Michigan doesn’t believe in salt or plowing as a matter of fact. Its fine when you have a 98 Explorer but I’m not too excited to be back home with my Scirocco

Actually just saw one of these on the street next to my apartment yesterday and wasn’t in bad shape. Still probably would not consider buy it at all though.

Neutral: Only enough for a backup camera nothing more.

I just bought an ‘85 8v Scirocco II two month ago and just replaced the fuel pump in it to make it my dd. Needs some body work but I love it to death. Hopefully it last me through college.
