I avoided this show because I hate country but my mom watched it and I found out the music in it is really good and very often non-country-ish. So I was so mad when it got canceled. But maybe that's why other people never gave it a chance.

I thought the opening scene showed that some (or most?) of Chuck's resentment of Jimmy was caused by his parents always favoring the younger brother, despite Chuck's loyalty and morals.
