Note that this does not work on 10.5. As of Leopard, the system no longer writes security messages to /var/log/asl.log but instead requires the use of syslog to retrieve messages from /var/log/asl.db . It may be possible to change the authsight script to use this instead but it's not as easy as using tail -f.

@apatzer: I've seen the weirdnamed transactions as well but I don't have any dealings with US Bank. It's happened on ATM withdrawals as a matter of fact. I submitted a ticket about it IIRC.

Yahoo also supports something like this with their "Open Shortcuts." It's only in beta right now.

For Bloglines users, what about the blogines toolkit? Adds lots of helpful actions to the context menu such as "Subscribe to this link."

I'm a big fan of SplashID. with my Treo. I keep all my info like frequent flier IDs, web logins, etc. There's a desktop version but I rarely use what with all the different computers I'm on (or not even on a computer).

Anyone know of a good clipboard manager for windows?
