It’s good to see that smile again, the one that defined dancin’ in the 80s for me.

They aren’t even little, really. A female chimp can throw 1000 pounds with one arm. They are more powerful than any human could possibly ever be.

It’s the great conundrum in film. 200 years from now folks could look back with distance and be, like, ‘Such great films, such storytelling, such a varied and storied career,’ the same way we look at, say, Caravaggio, who was a murderer and a rapist, and say ‘Such exquisite art, so influential, so transcendent.’…

Strangely, the day she died I was watching that episode of Dollhouse where his billionaire tech character uses Echo as a proxy for his wife who was killed on her way to meeting him at their first house. I always loved that character because it really humanized Whedon’s ideas about humanity in that show. :(
