RIP Tommy
RIP Tommy
When Tommy Ramone passed away at the age of 65 last summer, it marked the passing of the final member of the original four Ramones.
I saw that! There are also some YouTube video where Skunk talks about working for the government, etc. Never would have guessed that one!
Love Skunk.
A rare live performance by Steely Dan.
Look, if I want to hear from a governor who is serious about doughnuts, it's going to be New Jersey.
This girl seems like a pretty unbelievable catch.
Tuff Decisions.
Awesome! Here's another Chris Bell song, though in a different vein:
Had dinner in Paris with a long-time female friend tonight. Came home singing this.
Apparently there's no lingering hard feelings between the two ladies. They made up at the next break.
Keeping one eye on what's going on around her is a wonderful tribute to Stuart Scott.
!Seems like some folks like ZZ Top! I didn't have much time today to look for stuff, but here's a bit more Top to go on with….first is Gibbons without the rest of the guys just smokin' "Thunderbird". I love this.
I've been in a ZZ Top mood lately. Did ya'll know that they've been together for more than 40 years?
The brilliance of SRV is on display in this video. Halfway through the song, one of his guitar strings breaks (you can see the broken string at around 2:50). He keeps playing like a total boss until he finds a suitable part in the song to change guitars, and he does so without missing a note. He is dearly missed.
Happy 2015 to all you DUANers. 2014 was a personally difficult year. As the new year approaches, I have been playing this song all day.
I have just watched "Crankin' My Hog" five times in a row and tears are streaming down my face.
