Hamill set the bar high. I think Troy Baker has some big boots to fill. He's a good voice actor, but people are resistant to change from the familiar. I was hoping he'd bring his own style to the Joker (a la Ledger) but what I've heard about it so far leads me to "impressionist" rather than an original performance.

I wish they had gotten somebody to sit down with him who had the vaguest idea what the fuck games they were playing.

But here in this game you get exactly that - someone trying to emulate Hamil, not his own voice.. It's like voices of Bugs Bunny - virtually it didn't change, it just went from Mel Blanc to... all the others, but the Voice never changed.

Hey, I respect what Hamil brought to the Joker. But that doesn't mean fans should discount what a new voice can bring either.
