Serious Sam Says

I was really, really hoping they would actually go through with it but didn’t think they actually would. I’m sure in the heads of the powers that be, a married life would ruin batman and they just didn’t want to risk such a big change to his characters mythology. Personally I think it would have been good to see him

Actually I’m kinda opposite to what most people have said, as soon as I saw that picture of Bruce eating the burger I couldn’t help but think “that is such a batman thing to do”. I mean, he’s an anally retentive rich guy from very old school money with a laundry list of obsessive compulsive disorders. Of course he

When the battle in wakanda turned it all happened so fast that I want sure what happened to a couple of the other characters and if they were either killed or just taken down hard. It was just kind of a blur at that point but it seemed like their were more deaths before the snap then are being counted at the moment.

The whole convergence thing was kind of confusing and I lost interest halfway through. Which version of booster became the new waverider?

Heh. That’s funny. I was going to mention brain damage in my previous reply to the post above but trimmed it out because it was already getting kinda long. Well done sir. Well done. Lol.

I agree 100%. The only way to have this story make even the slightest bit of sense is if this booster gold is a version of his much younger (and dumber) self from his earlier personal timeline when he was first starting out. Very cocky and inexperienced with time and the ramifications of what changing things in the

I believe that marvel comics (and some of the other publishers too probably) look at cancer as becomes an integral part of a person’s body, which is the reason that normal forms of magical healing don’t work against it (like when the Mar-Vell version of captain marvel died from cancer). While there are certainly some

Definitely an evil act on Xaviers part and I’m very doubtful that Fantomex really “volunteered” to sacrifice himself. That’s a very un-Fantomex-like thing to do and completely out of character for him. Xavier is a full on villian now, and if he isn’t for some reason than I’ll just be mind boggled that the x-men would

What strikes me about this reveal is that most of the posts I’ve seen so far (and I’ve done a lot of looking) seem to lean towards “oh look, Charles Xavier is back in a weird new way, sweet. How cool is that?” and completely gloss over the fact that erasing someone’s mind and taking over their body is something that

Possessed his body. Damn autocorrect. :/

Iceman himself has always struggled to find his place in the comic book world. This of course is due to the writers struggling to figure out what to do with him. I guess some characters are just better at being background characters. The most interesting period of icemans comic book life was when Emma frost pissed his

I agree. It was awful. I am in fact a fan of the character herself and was looking forward to see her in her own book but ugh, it was painful. It’s cool to take risks with new books and art styles and whatnot but you have to have some level of consistency and direction and the boom lacked both unfortunately. :(

The problem wasn’t that the comic wasn’t a white male lead book. There are plenty of comics that do well that aren’t male white led books and to claim that a book is canceled because of that reason is a cop out in the extreme. The America book got good initial sales and attention because (A) the character is both good

Hm. I’ve been trying to put my finger on what Gwen pool reminded me of for awhile and it didn’t hit me until you mentioned Empowered. ===lb

People like to complain a LOT about comic books staring non white male superheroes getting canceled so often, and that there should be more diversity in comics so as to appeal a larger audience but when it comes down to it there just isn’t enough of those same people within that audience who actually BUY those books.
