Yeah, reading helps, lol.

I was assuming they were talking about replacing the seat back TVs (think delta touch screen TVs that are in every seat back) with iPads. My bad. I was wrong.

I would assume they factored that in to the weight. They probably have a proprietary mount in the back of the seat, so that the ipad is non removable.

Technically it does, but its so easy to take in and out, that you could easily replace the CD drive when you take it in for service. I still have apple care on mine, but don't expect many problems. (knocks on wood)

Yeah, if you read through his comments, it's about 99% troll Mac-Fanboi-isms.

For my usage, yes.

Is it sad that I've still yet to see this movie in it's entirety? I hear all the jokes, and have to immediately youtube them.

Damn, they fixed it....

Yeah, I did the 8gb ram for parallels. I noticed with windows 7 running, on top of OSX, it would be noticeably slower when opening tasks, but now it's speedy all the time. Love this thing, best computer I've owned. Don't get me wrong, I still love my Windows, but after tinkering with iLife for a bit, Apple may be

I didn't mean macbooks as a whole; I love my macbook, love the software, love the ease of use, and really love the multitouch gestures built into the os. I don't think retina displays on a macbook will be as amazing as they say.

Yeah, I got an optibay alternative, bumped it up to 8gb of ram, and got a 120gb ssd for the OS (keep the 500gb for storage), and it runs fast as shit. The battery life is still good, unless the second GPU is running, then it's shit. I just don't see how they're going to try to push 4x the pixels and still run

Didn't buy it from Apple, and they only have a 14 day anyway. Got such a good deal that I'm not worried at all.

Come back when you don't need mommy's permission to use the internet, k?

Wouldn't make the corporations enough money though, so this will never happen.

Amazing article. I can't wait for the day, that as a species, we become self aware. I fear that day will never come, at least not without tragic and massive loss of life and structure.

Just bought a Macbook Pro last week. Nope, don't regret it at all. Got a steal, and I don't see these things being as amazing as they say. Minor processor bump, and if they have Retina displays, I'm ready to laugh at the lag and poor battery life.
