I learned only today that the Iraqi version was called Skorpion. Pretty much everyone over here called it “Honker”.
It is the Tur, now that I googled it they made it nearly identical to the Hawkei visually! As for the predecessor - no, not the Skorpion, haven’t ever heard the name. I’m talking about Honker, a supposedly tweaked design of a commercial truck from the early eighties.
Yes, it did look like the Hawkei. Which pretty much means that all the local R&D went down the shitter. Pity, the predecessor was awful and we could use a locally made replacement.
Funny, two weeks ago I saw one of these in photos from a military parade in Poland. And that after enough announcements that our R&D was coming up with a Hummvee equivalent.
What’s your take on Starbound’s yesterday update? I’m a bit pissed off that they treat the colony feature like a mystery puzzle, making you experiment with pretty much every bit of furniture to find out who you’re going to get (somehow I got a trader by putting his terminal in my kitchen, a small affair with a fridge,…
Okay, so it’s worth it. I missed the Kickstarter, but now I think I’ll buy it.
Well, that’s how vehicles worked in Syndicate. Once you got in a car, you could only move along the streets.
Dude, don’t insult Alpha Protocol by comparing it to crap like Bloodlines.
Dude, that’s supposed to be propaganda fodder for official news. Don’t expect the majority of the Chinese to be smart enough not to believe the official news. It’s still an authoritarian country after all.
Titanfall or Dirty Bomb? Because to me, Battery is like Dirty Bomb’s Nader (what with her active skill, the plonker) and Nomad is pretty much the beta merc Phoenix, who could revive himself and acted like a walking heal station.
The new Hitman film? What is WRONG with you.
There are so many misconceptions and misguided love for Fallout 3 that it makes me cringe.
Well, if they have some programming knowledge, they can help in rubber duck debugging too.
Funny, I had a similar idea two weeks ago. However, it was a little different: instead of a shirt with tubing, I planned to use a surplus Soviet pressurized flight suit ($40), two Peltier coolers and small 4.5V water pumps. All that powered by 6V generated by two parallel 4xD-cell racks.
Well god damn, Hermann Goering would piss himself happy upon the sight.
Can Duke work for younger (but still adult) audiences? Yes, he can, but he has to evolve. His character must answer to the cultural mores and pathways of the audience he is intended to reach. Hitting the same “dude, blow shit up and talk about boobs,” notes won’t work anymore—nor should it.
Well, in Watch_Dogs I managed to gain control over two CTOS nodes without even getting out of the car. Two more I took over without violence. The one in the upscale marina/harbor thingy, well, that was a shootout.
“RIP, lingerie radio girl. You brought so many FUCKING DEATHCLAWS into the vault. You had to die”
Homefront 1 was pretty much a reskin of Frontlines:Fuel of War, which was also designed as a multiplayer game with a tacked-on singleplayer campaign. Which was pretty much the reason why I decided to pass on it.
