I think you made the case pretty clearly.
I think you made the case pretty clearly.
If you’re correct, my hands would be the least of my worries—
Accidentally missed the first paragraph, but I still knew it was Australia before starting the video.
YAWN.

20 years is a long time to take that kind of care of a car and it is an even longer amount of time to spin tall tales about it.
Even if it weren’t the ONLY choice, it would still be the BEST choice.
To be clear: I do not like or dislike these things. My point was that these things have all proven that they add something to the car. It just isn’t what Jalops want added.
Not calling yourself “Justy Starship” seems like a real missed opportunity.
The problem is that the answer to all three of your questions is yes, and measurably so. All of those things are annoying when I get into a new car, but they are not “change for change sake” if they actually improve things. They just don’t improve the things you and I want improved.

Not with the purpose of catching active leaks. And I certainly don’t wad them up to keep in my pocket and reuse them.
“often cared for so little that it’s the single most misspelled model name on Craigslist.”
There’s also a good chance that a roundup like this exists in multiple languages and they would have heard of the more common ones before. And if they’re generous enough to let you know when you’ve crossed a line, that’s a bonus.
I’d lose so much time day to day stopping to douse each handkerchief kerosene and burn it as soon as I finished using it.
“Use disposable tissues instead as many cultures find the idea of handkerchiefs repulsive.”
Last time I tried this the AC was broken at my gate and the plane was late. Not only was everyone around me more comfortable, I had the added embarrassment of being a sweaty mess someone had to sit next to.
Did anyone else notice the homemade wheel covers? Perhaps they were trying to regian through aerodynamics the MPG lost through the weight gain? Is this person a secret genius?
Agreed. This problem takes care of itself to some extent through pricing. A person who plans to maintain meticulously should be more picky about maintenance/condition (and willing to pay for it), while a person who plans to neglect it shouldn’t be looking for a perfect (and won’t want to pay for it).
