Get Steve Lehto on the phone.

I agree that the majority of people (at least commentors) don’t walk the talk, but isn’t this advice, basically, “If you want them to make this, you have to buy it first”.

Ugh, boring people just can’t let go of the tiny bullshit that they think makes them cooler or more interesting than some dumb punchline dad from the 90s.

I think that’s why they disable the touch screen while in motion. You are forced to use the buttons and knobs in the wheel and console.

Still no defense for Rolling Stone.

I think that is because the middlemen will only make those assurances when the large wallets make them (and/or pay for them).

It also keeps the sector from correcting itself. If students can’t discharge the loans, the lenders don’t have to decide whether $100k+ loans for are a good idea. And in these states, the lender can even count on the state handle enforcement for free.

There’s a link to the same article in the 5th paragraph.

Utility, I think. But I think the ideal would be to double down and get a used Fit instead.

Only if you feel deprived by the frugality. It can also mean freedom from the compulsion to spend money on things you don’t really care about.

Sure, but the $400k came after the frugality, savings, and early retirement. I think a lot of his self-congratulatory stuff and the my-way-is-the-only-way “face punch” stuff is onboxious. But, I think there’s still a lot of useful information there.

That still sounds like the same advice to me. You weighed your desire to reproduce against the extra 14 years and made your choice. You aren’t depriving yourself of 14 years of early retirement, you are benefiting from your choice to enjoy a lifetime of mini-Knoz’s.

I don’t know what everyone’s so uptight about. His behavior here is downright presidential.

I, for one, could not be more surprised to learn this guy can’t take bad news well and tries to spread the blame to everyone else.

And disappoint my fans?!

Good point.

I think that is why they made such a big deal about the “evenly distributed ignition at multiple points” (or whatever their language was). Like, they were saying “this little fireball leads to a COMPRESSION TYPE of ignition, rather than a SPARK TYPE of ignition”. And presumably they can verify it by the way the engine

True, so maybe that is why they went with “spark controlled” rather than “sparkless”.

From what I gather from David’s last writeup on this, the gasses expanding from the small “spark explosion” is actually part of the compression that ignites the “compression explosion”.

Probably around the same time a company trying to avoid the term “layoff” said the employee they were firing was excellent.
