A trained dog will not attack unless provoked. I have personal experience with this and many dogs in my 40 years.

Those dogs were provoked. Fear and pain are forms of stimuli. A well trained dog isnt going to bite someone out of the blue. A well trained dog isnt going to just attack for no reason.

None of the dogs I have owned would even consider it. Except for the farm dog we had many many years ago. He was able to come and go as he pleased. He stayed in a barn.
