That’s called unethical negotiating.

While I agree with your point that he is stating his bias in the phrase “fake news media”, I think he has a valid point. What is the difference between Soleimani and Bin Laden, where one is called an assassination, and the other a “targeted assault”?

It was not an assassination. Quit playing into the fake news media’s talking point. Even Obama’s DHS secretary has debunked this one. If it was an assassination, so was the killing of Osama bin Laden.

Because they can’t fly to their destination with the landing gear down and they wouldn’t want to raise the landing gear if it was possibly damaged, they might not be able to lower it again.

As well as post-landing maintenance as well I would assume, seeing how Air Canada Corp office is there and Bombardier has a factory right there.

You do realize that regional aircraft like this don’t have the ability to jettison fuel right?  They can land overweight in an outright emergency but that would likely lead to structural damage. Even aircraft much larger than the Dash 8 such as the A320 don’t have the capability to jettison fuel.

If there was a problem during landing, which airport/city would you prefer to crash at: Montreal or Saguenay?

The key is Uber cannot tell them when they will work. Unless Uber gets to set their schedule they are contractors.

“Regardless, it’s worth juxtaposing the mere assertion to the rights Americans apparently do not have:...an affordable education...”

And when the other cars inevitably bump into you while they’re parking, they dent the door instead of scuff the “bumper”?

And you open the door how?

I would add this excellent comment, every time I saw a stupid smart car, I wanted to push it over.

1) The United States is NOT Europe, in that we do not have the same urban parking issues European cities do and we also like to drive our cars more than 20 miles in one stretch.

The stupid smart car failed because it’s stupid.

I love small cars, but Smart cars are dreadful to drive (worst transmission ever), don’t get nearly good enough fuel economy for their size, and were incredibly impractical. Wrong hill to die on.

Possibly with the support of PSA, Alfa Romeo could remain in the market long enough to become a near luxury alternative to the more established brands.

I feel like when you meet in person is the only time a buyer really has the right to negotiate. Not allowing them to see the item for sale in person before final negotiation isn’t terribly fair. If people low-ball me, I tell them to meet me in person and then we can talk about a price that works for both of us. This

With regard to the advisability of purchasing a former rental car. P.J. O’Rourke perhaps said it best:

Why? I know two people who bought those used and they have been perfectly happy with them for 2+ years.

I wouldn’t be so quick to make that assumption....
