Why not? It’s cheap since they know the worst case isn’t that expensive.

genuine question- given your fleet of rusty jeeps and your time value how much money have you saved vs buying a new/slightly used vehicle? No judgement in that question, and I spend my days in pawn shops and resale shops looking for old music gear which is more or less the equivalent of your all things old jeep hobby.

Too many enablers on Jalopnik.

Is that a Kia or BMW?

Neutral (and 5th):

I think it’s just like a Ridgeline.

You’re not wrong, but doesn’t address my statement about the entry level interiors being garbage.

Not every insurance carrier has 100% glass coverage, depends on the state and carrier. In Alaska you can’t even get glass coverage.

As a non-motorcyclist, you don’t want this.

Don’t blame me for that argument, blame a new technology without an existing refueling infrastructure and a society still trying to figure out where that fits. Or better yet, blame the brand that cruised for generations on an identity around old fashioned road bikes finally waking up to the idea that they need to

I don’t suspect many riders will even attempt to charge on the road, most will charge at home and ride around town or commute to work.

Maybe 17 different body styles on your base platform (4-door coupe crossover?!) and excessively overpriced and over complicated enthusiast models isn’t the best strategy. Also, if you can certify yet another body on a platform, you can certify a manual.

You do realize that this is partially what gave them the lead in the first place, right?

Ultimate driving machine to ultimate meh machine.

Humans are causing the planet to warm, sure, but my question is to what percentage? 1%, 25%, 80%, 100%? That’s where every scientist seems to have differing opinions.

They also don’t have any solutions on a global scale. “Carbon Credits” is just a BS power grab. I want to know what their plans are to help reduce the

A supposed change of a few degrees over the course of a couple hundred years.

Exercise? Go to the gym or go for a run. Save gas? Walk or take mass transit (you’re in a city after all where these things are possible).
