exactly. and imagine how many chargers would be required and the sze of the powerline to the site. it would quickly get into the tens of millions to build.

15 minutes to recharge an EV with a long range battery would require at least double the flow of a tesla supercharger. Hard to see how that can be done safely.

The fast charge network isn’t the barrier. It’s the capacity of the residential grid to supply the power to homes and apartments. Simply put it would cost trillions to upgrade. It isn;t going to happen. EVs will remain a fringe option - ICEs and Fuel cells are the way forward.

For getting around - up hills in deep snow - fwd with all seasons are better than rwd with snow tires. Being able to direct tractive force and having most of the weight on those tires is the decisive aspect.
