I found even the bad Cartmel Era Who stories to be remarkably superior, in feel, to the rest of the JNT era.

This. Season 5 wasn’t awful, per se, but it was definitely a downslide, but the last string of episodes followed by the finale more than make up for it.
IMO the latter half of season 5 was just as good as anything from seasons 2-4, so it’s not really a cheat.
The Cartmel era managed to give Classic Doctor Who one last hurrah after the abysmal ending to the JNT era. I mean, yeah technically the show was put “on hiatus” but I really don’t think that matters.
That is clearly the new T-60 armor not the clasic T-51b armor that the Brotherhood is known for wearing. Darn fake boy gamers. Go back to your Fallout Shelter casual gaming. Let the big girls do the real gaming. Bet you haven’t even played 1 or 2!
To be fair, anyone who doesn’t mock Millar isn’t someone whose book I’d want to read.
Next wave really enjoys mocking Mark Millar don’t they?
One small correction.
This is one of my favorite superhero books of all time. It’s just relentlessly fun. It’s something you could give to someone who knows nothing about Marvel and they’d still love it, but the way it connects the various Z-listers of the Marvel universe just make it a thing of pure joy.
This would, of course, please me. I assume the Jaeger he fights with would be called Jet Jaeger.
Holy shit is this an easy one
For Snow Crash, it was this line “As part of Mr. Lee’s good neighbor policy, all Rat Things are programmed never to break the sound barrier in a populated area. But Fido’s in too much of a hurry to worry about the good neighbor policy.
Apparently, there are people who hate John M. Ford’s How Much For Just The Planet?.
Maybe the most fun I’ve ever had reading a book
“Tell me about it.” — Luke Cage
Delayed forever please!
Snarky Alfred is the best Alfred. BTAS Alfred forever!
Also one time, this happened.
It would be bizarre if it weren’t so predictable that the bigwigs at DC have blamed Batgirling instead of Flashpointing and Convergencing (with apologies to the English language) for their loss of sales. Batgirl and Harley Quinn are both successful experiments driven by committed creators rather than sweeping…
I shouldn’t have to keep saying this, but NO ONE SHOULD BE AFRAID OF SUPERMAN BECAUSE HE’S GODDAMN SUPERMAN! If you’ve created a Superman that lots of people are afraid of, THEN YOU’RE DOING IT WRONG!
