After Brexit, Trump, Aleppo and all the other bullshit, the world kinda deserves Jar Jar wearing a robe with a hoodie and choking people left and right.

I never watched the Clone Wars and went into Rogue One completely blind about the new characters, but Saw Gerrara immediately got into my pantheon of Lucas' bad names alongside Wickett W. Warrick, Kit Fisto and the absolute winner Savage Opress.
Battlefield Pluto will cause some controversy, and many angry tweets from Neil DeGrasse Tyson.
I thought about that the very first time someone (Jyn's mother?) says his name, but dismissed it as just a very stupid pun. Later when Mon Mohtma says he rebelled from the Alliance and has gone all extremist terrorist, I groaned.
Who gives a fuck about an Oxford comma?
The brits would love it; americans… not that much.
As long as the main story is not constantly interrupted by NPC's asking for help to build settlements, I'm in.
I have to ask: when exactly did the 2nd lost you?
What's his deductible, bro?
It really depends of the game. A CoD-like action game can be easy to adapt since their stories are pretty straight forward and disconnected from one installation to another. But most games, mainly franchises, have a lot of backstories, lore and characters that behave in a way that doesn't make sense to the casual…
If the movie is just about those three months then yes, it wouldn't work. But my idea is this: discovering Prothean technology on Mars and the first relay, Grissom's reckon op, colonization and turians get pissed. Then the major focus of the movie would be on Desolas, Jack, Eva, Ben and the monoliths, with the siege…
This is how it will succeed.
I still have to play that. Rogue and Unity left a sour taste and burned my goodwill towards the franchise. But Victorian London sounds too good to just ignore.
I'm starting to think the only game-to-movie adaption that could work would be a Mass Effect about the First Contact War. It's a space opera with enough lore to please the nerds but enough breathing space for the writers, and it's about humans exploring the universe and meeting new species, with all the potential and…
Yes and no. Of course several games with 20+ hours of gameplay each give you enough lore to make sense of all that's happening, something a 2-hour movie can't do. And the Apple of Eden referenced in the review is a good example, since we first hear about it during the first game (and it's a big part of the main arc)…
I remember an interview with Fassbender admitting he never played the games. So… what kind of passion project is this?
It's "take out your dicks", not "show us your dick"! Damn it, again from the top.
Probably my favorite movie of the decade so far, The Hunt being a very close second.
Oh, another pun thread. Everyday is exactly the same around here.
The director of A Separation has a new movie? Gotta check that out asap!
