I don't think that comment will age well.

Toyota makes transportation appliances. They are VERY good at it. They were smart to buy in the fun cars from a couple of companies who actually know how to make fun cars. There is not a single thing about the 86 or Supra that is going to make a Corolla better.

Naw this is the ONE case where I would want a V6 - Alfa’s, in a Fiata. :-)

I always preferred the MGC to the MGB, so I’m on board with this idea.

Ok, Mazda. I want you to hear me out on this...

They aren’t torquier than V6s, that idea doesn’t make any sense. I get that intake manifolds on 60 degree V6s can get tall, but that usually doesn’t cause reductions in peak torque.

Correct. Straight six all the cars!

Inline-6 = how to properly arrange 6 cylinders.

Yeah, but when it’s a toggle switch I don’t have to look at to use, it’s not really a problem.

Your dream steering wheel awaits...

If you’re driving 80-90 miles an hour—and you can in some countries, legally—you don’t want to be flipping around an iPad looking to move your door mirrors or your seat controls.

One thing I found yesterday is that MINI offers a universal phone/tablet holder accessory that puts it just beyond the gauge cluster for navigation.

And the hype machine changes gears now that Supra is released.

RIP John Haynes, you gave power back to the people so they could better-understand their automobiles.

Thank you for yet another “In the distant past, someone else did it too, so don’t blame Islam”. They are doing it today, right now, as you are reading this.

Iconoclasm applied only to religious images, however, and it didn’t last long. Islam seems to have a thing about any mimetic visual art. It comes and goes and varies from place to place, obviously - otherwise nothing from ancient Egypt would have survived to the present day - but it’s there.

Ryan,
