Why does this keep happening?! Are there really people out there who won’t buy old shows unless they fill their entire screen? Not only are people losing a good chunk of the show (they call it unnecessary, but I beg to differ), but a TON of work goes into deciding what can be chopped off on a near frame-by-frame

Yup, watched the crap out of it as a kid (though I may have been a little on the older side for it, I still liked it).

Been keeping my eye on that particular model myself, too. I’ve actually found quite a few write-ups online for doing full NB auto to manual conversions. The process doesn’t look horrible, but I think I’d still rather find a good manual example.

It would be perfect! Basically a Golf R with, in my opinion, more luxurious interior. Like the Audi A3 hatchback that we didn’t get.

Kind of. Attached garage with homelink door opener buttons in the car.

I would be more than happy paying a premium for a manual option. Even if it’s considered a post-purchase aftermarket option so they can skip all the extra testing that goes along with it (though, I understand that would make it non street legal in several states). I’m not OK with the manual being a base only option or

Latest example, you can get a Mazda 3 with a stick. You can’t get a Mazda 3 Turbo with a stick. My head nearly exploded when I read that a few months ago. Could have been a match made in heaven!

Yeah, unfortunately. There are some things I just can’t do without anymore. I like never having to take my keys out of my pocket. I like having media controls on the steering wheel and a heated steering wheel and heated seats. Heck, I really like being able to pause, fast forward, rewind live radio (which my car does,

I was just saying because there are some “bad asses” out there who say that you can get everything you need from episodes 25 and 26 and EoE was for baby dumb dumbs who need everything spelled out for them.

Whoa. What issues are you having?

Congratulations. Not sure if it’s on Netflix, too, but the End of Evangelion movie should be considered the series finale (even though it’s just what is happening during the last couple of episodes, you’ll see) and, personally, I think that should be watched before going into the modern Rebuild movies.

I once tried to replace the front struts on my ATS. Borrowed some spring compressors from Advance, compressed the spring as much as humanly possible (I actually bowed the compressors. They didn’t say anything about it when I brought them back). Removed the top nut and the top hat went flying off as the top rung and a

Yikes! I thought my ATS was bad, but at least I only need to do steps 1, 2, 5, and 6!

Ooof. That’s going to be tough for some cars. My wife has a new Volvo S60. Her’s does NOT have adaptive cruise control, but the buttons for it are on the steering wheel! It appears that Volvo’s solution for button blanks is to just give everyone the buttons whether the car has the feature or not. That’s going to make

The “6-speed Manual” is a pretty broad issue on car search sites. Depending on the car, of course, whenever I search exclusively for manuals, there’s always a percentage of automatics that come up. First thing I do is scroll through the pictures until I get to an interior shot in order to confirm that it truly is a

Damnit, I just spent $1,200 on the Sony XBR65X900H a little over a month ago. Oh well, whatever. Can’t recommend the TV enough. Built-in Android TV is fast, settings are clean and intuitive, and contrast blew my mind for being LCD (full array local dimming that outperforms other TVs with WAY more zones). Truly rivals

I got my N64 a little more than a month after launch and I got my Xbox and Xbox 360 at their midnight launches. Everything else was when I got around to it. I didn’t even buy any current gen consoles (yet) because I dove back into PC pretty completely in 2013 and, for as often as I play, don’t really think I’ll be

It’s crazy that, as a society, we went from paying very little for communications and enthusiastically answering every call we got to paying quite a bit for communications and dodging just about every call! People ruin everything.

I was going to No Dice this until I saw the manual shifter. Mmmm. It’s like a Viper you can take your whole family in without too much fear of killing everyone. This is going to make someone very happy!

I love the bleeding edge, maybe more than most, but I’m kind of concerned with people driving around in EV conversions that have had zero thought put into battery pack safety. If solid state cells were widely available, that would be one thing, but the 18650 or de-armored Tesla cells/packs that a lot of people use can
