I save myself these disappointments by focusing on the journey and how the plot is executed. IMO, it’s unreasonable for me to be connected to social media and not expect spoilers to come my way. When I was a kid, I couldn’t necessarily go to a movie the same time my friends did, but I was really excited to hear what

Frank Miller’s Elektra run in the 80s.

My despair is because Marvel will never get tired of pitting heroes against one another, or corrupting them into evil, or other ways of taking their agency away from them. It’s the ultimate comics one-upmanship conversation between two nine-year-olds: “Hero A can TOTALLY beat Hero B!” “Nuh-UH!” “Uh-HUH!”

With the number of cast characters in that friggin’ show, they won’t have TIME to show him having a relationship or even referring to a husband. He’ll be a blip.

I doubt they’ll even address Obsidian’s orientation in context. If they cast Lance Henriksen, they’re going for the scary statesman. Henriksen would have made an excellent Spectre, though.

That character was the absolute *only* thing I hated about BTB&TB. Everything else was great and spot-on, even the episode itself...but I’m really not an NPH fanperson, and for me, introducing a character invented just for the purpose of the show was a redundant waste (see Fun Haus) and lazy writing.

NO. NO MUSIC MEISTER. That is totally jumping the shark (even though we had a shark).

How do we know he *asked* for all that? Why do we even assume he was directly involved in the planning when he probably has a lot of staff to do that job for him?

I pretty much see his head of staff having a meeting with the servants that know his family well, creating a checklist of guests, events, and live

Imma letcha finish, Diamondback, but I’m waitin’ on some other bruthas to roll up in this bitch—

1) John Bushmaster

Some periods in the right places might help make this paragraph clearer.

I dunno, did the boardgame require a “to hit” roll?

Or, maybe Demogorgon’s entry in the Monster Manual that required a roll to overcome magic resistance (86%)?

Reiterating that they showed the “DUNGEON” boardgame as they were packing Will’s stuff up after his disappearance, but a 1st Edition D&D screen at the table in the opening and closing episodes, I can understand the confusion.

The voice of conscience is often disliked for its inconvenience in proportion to its vehemence.

I got your back, Foggy.

This poster is turrible. I’ve watched Tyler Hoechin in MTV’s Teen Wolf, and there, he showed the build we’d be looking for a powerful Superman.

Why would they elongate his FACE? And...He looks like a DWEEB with that hair??

And...and....

If only because with the Kingpin still in the game, there’s no limit to the number of goons he can hire from the ranks of each hero’s canonical rogues gallery:

I’m sincerely expressing my concern about the lack of original heroes for minorities to follow/look up to.

Might have already been notified of this but Freddie is the daughter of Dr. Facilier, not the son.

I admire your fortitude in responding to the commenters who feel it’s unrealistic when black heroes who had possibly never even met Rhodey feel impacted by his death enough to address their feelings in a private space. “Family” in this case is the acknowledgement and awareness that there are all too few black

*sigh* I think Brevoort should have really thought twice about repeating a literary maneuver which is now verging into a trope: “Kill off the black superhero to reflect the tragedy and tension of the times by who gets caught in the crossfire”, a.k.a., #SuperBlackLivesMatter.

Evan, you’re just kickin’ ass, man. Keep this up and I’ll push for your own comics blog.
