I really, really liked Ryuji at first, but yeah, that got old fast. I know he's not supposed to be the brightest bulb, but it seems like you should probably learn something from making the same mistake twice. Or three times. Or more, because I honestly lost track of how often he pulled that bull.

Persona 5 is all turn based, so no reflexes needed.
