I always liked how neutral Always Sunny is, but the new writers seem to be going for a more leftist stance. and that might push away a lot of viewers. :(
This episode just wasn't funny at all to me, it had a good message but it was conveyed in a bit of a pushy way. so it was just irritating to watch.
