But why hold them responsible for an all caps mega-blast of publicity, when so far *they* are not the ones bringing it up? I mean, if news of the century is only revealed through interviews, why blame the source, not the interviewers pressing the issue?

I keep thinking I'll get over it, but every time I'm put to the test...

Did they retract Constantine's bisexuality?

But this wasn't revealed as part of a press release. It was first brought up as an answer to a reporter.

*Had* to do this? You're not implying that DC's homosexual quotient has been filled, so they don't need any more gay characters?

The text needs to come out and say that there's something about superheroes that makes them uber-straight, don't you think? It's really hard to tell the difference between "oh, that doesn't happen in this reality" and "I didn't want to bother with this issue in my writing" or "Isn't it lovely I can create a world

I was gonna say toxoplasmosis, but that's pretty much covered by any random zombie flick.

Since at least one in ten superheroes should be gay, and are clearly not, why is it confusing when it's more like one in a hundred?

What is the evidence that the short straw was at work here, and not that the writer thought "Hmm. This is an good way to take this character..."?

And she should be sweeping because she's what?

Ah, thank you! Sometimes I feel like I'm running up and down the corridor yelling at people who look at me funny, but I'm glad it's not *always* something like that.

Which "others" are apparently gay? Is there more than one?

>, who cares about the sexuality of anyone these days

You did read this article where it says he's been de-aged and has no kids, right?

You're not bashing, just calling it crap?
