I’d argue the 3 series isn’t even all that high of quality these days, in addition to being bland. Everything works, sure, but the dashboard/front console in my mom’s 3 series isn’t far removed from my wife’s Honda. Not sure if that’s a burn on BMW or a compliment to Honda, to be honest.
