They wouldn't be competing against each others ecosystems because you are locked inside their device. That's like saying Google Play Store competes against the Applestore ... they are two separate ecosystems which don't effect each other at all. Once you make your 400-500 dollar decision you are kinda trapped there.

that's never gonna happen tho because they would effectively have no competition. Steam is the way it is because competition keeps it honest. Microsoft and i guess even Sony want to route out the competition so you can only buy from them. Both consoles have digital market places and are any of the digital versions any

Im not sure about capcom being good about it with street fighter 2 having like 5 different versions, and then SF3 and the Alpha series intentionally leaving classic characters out only to put them back in during later installments. They were only slightly better than they are now because they didnt have the ability to

Capcom has always been about nickle and diming people ever since way back on the NES days. Same with Arc System Works (blazblue / guilty gear), which is why i will never buy another Capcom game or anything from Arc System Works.
Almost every capcom fighting game to be released has at least 3 different versions. Capcom

yea the world is a terrible place isn't it ?

The demo review argument is faulty. There are plenty of reviews out there that AREN'T owned by "teh corpoRAPEtion$" ! including user reviews on hundreds of different sites and youtube reviews from just regular people who are just as good as many of the professional reviewers. At the end of the day a review is just an

i read the first one and commented pretty early. I didn't go through all of them cause as soon as you say " I don't get it" even after the game has been out for so long, it's just sorta weird and slightly irritating to keep reading yours and everyone else comment on the subject.
Having said that, Minecraft is

why is there always like 50 guys like you in the comments section? The game has been out for years now. You don't like it ... fine. Im not sure how you can be so bewildered by it for this long. The appeal of minecraft is its social and survival aspects, having to eek out a living and doing things slowly building up

While i dont have a problem with piracy per se ... what you are doing is still technically wrong. Just call a spade a spade. What you are doing is wrong, just admit that and move on. I would never pay for an EA game cause fuck EA, but if pirated DeadSpace 3 or whatever that would mean i am accessing the game

While i agree what he is doing is technically wrong, in the end he really isn't actually hurting anyone. Piracy helps games more than helps them. It's been proven by several studies that piracy usually helps to boost the sales of games and media (especially TV shows and movies) there is no evidence to support that

I think as far as controls go it's supposed to enhance games, so far the best i've seen it implemented is in driving games where it allows you to look around inside the cockpit of whatever it is you are driving. That seems like a neat concept but very few games have this sort of integration. A few games do support the

Not to mention the rift isn't even a fully fledged product yet with no games ... At this point it's just a curiosity. A Really expensive curiosity ...

This isn't the place to start. It already started there like 20 years ago. This is the same thing people had in the 90's only with better graphics and slightly better equipment. Strapping monitors to people's heads is not the way to go and it will not catch on. Especially at this price tag.

Most gamers would get tired of this after a few weeks if not the first day. Imagine how much sprinting you would have to do in COD. Imagine how tired you would be afterward. Maybe if you are 15-22 and are in good shape that doesn't sound like a big deal but alot of gamers are getting older. I'm not gonna be on there

They didn't exactly dismiss his idea's they simply pointed out all the flaws with his business model. Overall they liked the product, however its price point and it's design is what holds it back. Negative Criticism is more valuable than positive criticism. Someone telling you what you did right isn't particularly

The fact that you create this question in the first place is where you fail. You've created a situation in which you could never be satisfied with the answer. Life doesn't need a point or a meaning. If you have to ask that question in order to live with yourself, then the answer is "you create your own meaning". If

Fair enough, i've never really liked Xarcade cause they use low quality American parts and they are typically only for PC. I've always preferred semitsu parts and Japanese sticks to the American ones, and i usually go with HORI. Also HORI Ps3 sticks are compatible with PS3, PS4 and PC so they seemed more useful to me.

You clearly didn't read what i wrote thoroughly enough and simply read what you needed to pick an argument. So I'll wait while you re-read it again, but this time pay attention to what i wrote instead of trying to twist my words into something you can disagree with .

Knowing the mechanisms behind life doesn't exactly make it meaningless. You bring meaning to your own life .
