I haven’t played any of the Dark/Demon’s souls other than a few hours playing Dark Souls at around 3am one night, after my brother practically begged me to play it.

By that logic, does an Olympic runner who runs 100m distances every day of their life to train, and then win gold at the games, not seem impressive to you, merely because they do the same thing every day, over and over again?

I think the only question now is:

Edit: That was supposed to say 420 hours, not days.

Some people find things like this meditative and relaxing, I do sometimes - rewarding, even. While the achievement for it is just like everybody else’s, it carries a certain weight that, while silly to you or me, obviously means something to him.

I would argue it’s more impressive, if not all that exciting.

Been wondering the same damn thing.

None of that behavior is ok, and you won’t find anyone here defending it.

That's.... amazing.

Gotta get that money (Renown, Anima, Soul Ash, time that you’ll never get back etc.).

She could have spent days doing it several xpacs ago. My fiance still spends hours dressing her priest and pally up on occasion, even after having gotten most of the gear each xpac since Cata, when xmog released.

Without a gas stove, yea its impossible to get it hot enough.

I know this is totally unrelated, but I just found out authorities found Tommy “Tiny” Lister dead in his home earlier today.

In a nutshell.

Aye, and I tend to agree - the visual fidellity of a game usually to me is not the be-all-end-all of how much I enjoy it.

And that’s great, but it wasn’t the entire subject of the rest of this thread.

I dont believe he said anywhere that those people did not care about interactivity.

The point is, just because some people don’t use something the way it was meant to be used doesn’t mean that’s not the way it was meant to be used.”

Well sure, but your splitting hairs now. Nobodies talking here about the hardware-adjacent, non-performance leaps a new console can make.
