Fun” is subjective.

Ok.

Those decisions were less about “graphics” and more about art direction and what they wanted their games to be. Some people want to make a simple, 2D side-scroller because it fits with their vision of the game.

I mean, that’s the only thing consoles really can do - bring better graphics (and performance), and incrementally bringing improvements to things like load times, basic QOL etc.

Comparing a game that is “supposed” to look the way it does, like Untitled Goose Game (as an example), with minimal systems and few ways to interact because of its inherent (and purposeful) simplicity - to a game like 2077, one which is supposed to be near photo-realistic, and vastly more complicated than something

I feel like I could have just pasted the definition for “subjective” here and saved a lot of typing. Damn.”

I mean, obviously gameplay is important.

I’ve been praying to the gods for years for them add a Jack-in-the-box to W.V. for their tacos.

Charlie would be proud.

Ahh, I miss the old packaging. Makes me nostalgic.

Because smaller buisnesses, like smaller organizations and individual people, naturally have to speak much louder than a giant corporation does to make their points and grievances heard.

It’s definitely something of an acquired taste.

I’ve gotten to where I can cook a steak that tastes better than any steak you’d get at a typical steakhouse; Outback, Longhorn, Cattlemans etc. and exponentially better than you’d get at a.... Roadhouse *shudder*.

It’s essentially just a steak cooked “blue” rather than “rare”, which is essentially a rare, rare steak.

The Baconator came out in 2007? WTF, where the hell was I?

Ugh, don't remind me.

Great.

This isn’t a what-about-ism, so don’t mistake it for that.

Shit rolls downhill, as they say.

Well yea, but you have to be full of child-like wonder and truly believe in him first.
