Oh, yes I am aware. A handful of graded and appraised first edition shadowless cards (a few near-mints but most were fair to excellent quality as I was a child and actually handled them often). I’m not talking in the hundreds of thousands or anything absurd like that.

Idk, I specifically had several first edition Charizards, Raichu, Venasaur and Blastoise cards that would be worth a small fortune nowadays.

They could do some of that (and already do, to some extent), but when we get to settings like ISO, aperture and exposure settings we start to hit the limits of what we can accurately and realistically portray in an entirely virtual experience.

Donating half of the profits from a $20 box of promotional, limited quantity cereal does not seem unreasonable to me- or, you know, ANY of the profits. 

Both of them together is simultaneously a terrifying and, if I’m being honest, rather life affirming experience.
