WNY here and I feel the same. What used to be mild comfortable summers with maybe a week or two of sweltering heat have flipped; you get maybe 2 decent weeks and the rest is a steam room. And the winters still suck and have gotten longer. But climate change isn’t a thing apparently.

Has anyone told you that was “Pine Barrens” and it was a fantastic episode?!

Yeah he’s crazy or stupid (or both). Perhaps he’s thinking of the 1st gen Tundra which as a base model came with the 3.4 or 4.0 V6s out of the Tacoma? Titan was always the 5.6 V8, even the regular cab short bed work truck trims with roll down windows (had one, was great, sold it locally at 186k miles, still see it on

No, no they did not.

No, no they did not.

No, no they did not.

Gotcha. Thanks for the knowledge!

Replied to him; but jeez. Granted racing isn’t cheap but I did not realize there were specific“rally” tyres that rivaled race slicks in price. Always figured rally was more “run what you brung” cheapo get it done materiel.

Golly gee. Are those a requirement for NEFR / rally in general? My gd specE36 “slicks” are almost cheaper?

What tires did you end up running on that out of curiosity? I have goodyear ultra grip snows on mine for snow / rallyx but have been trying to find some decent ATs in 15"

I believe “trainologist” is the preferred verbiage.

Wildly incorrect. Our 2018 4runner uses a standard (not even laser cut) key to start. Part of the “charm” of Toyota selling basically the same vehicle since 2005.

As you know I has an E36 that’s ran in the dirt on 15s with snow tires and ran at the Glen on m3 wheels (17s) with 245s. Ground control adjustable coils all the way around give me the flexibility to do both. Not the BEST in either category but certainly competitive enough and more capable than my driving level (ugh).

Re: the radar cruise not working in winter and robbing you of any cruise, have you tried holding / fiddling with the cruise on off and set buttons? Took me one painful7.5 hour winter trip in the Armada to figure out if you hold down the cruise long enough it’ll switch from radar to conventional and let you use it even

Is “airplanes and canoes” the long awaited sequel to the 1987 Johns Candy masterpiece?!

I’m curious now, what is oil pressure measured in around your area? Bar?

Oil pressure in pounds (lb) per (/) square inch (in); also known as PSI to normal folk.

POW! THUD! WHACK!!

No worries, same here. I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the ratio of road courses to ovals this year. Still mad they no longer run at the Glen, was an awesome race to go to.
