That doesn’t answer my question though. It was a sincere one. I had the obviously mistaken impression that marrying a US citizen grants residency status in our country, as a matter of law (“marrying for the green card!” and all that). It clearly doesn’t, or has some additional stipulations that weren’t hit in this

Excuse my ignorance, but can anyone explain why his being married to a US Citizen does not grant him the right to live here? Something about the order of things, and not filling out the proper paper work and/or being here without a visa prior to the marriage? It boggles my mind that someone married to a citizen can be

My single favorite high school team mascot ever is Potsdam, NY’s. Small college town practically on the Canadian border. They’ve really embraced the “Pot” part of Potsdam. The town’s chamber of commerce website used to be PotsdamGood (Pots Damn Good), though someone seems to have wised up and taken that down.

Anywho...

I think you’ve done responded to the wrong person. I was specifically pointing out the special gloves suck.

I’ve had those gloves. The touch sensitive part wears off over time (its like a coating they add on), and that length of time is significantly less than you might expect. Mine didn’t make it a full winter before they ceased to be useful on touch screens.

The phone cradle thing probably has options to switch out depending on your phone. Mini does a similar thing with the center armrest, optional phone dock inside it, specify your phone model and they’ll sell you a perfect fit cradle inlay. Sell being key, the inlays run $200-400.

Hmm.. I’ve been using almost identical products from SimpliSafe for a couple years now. I got 4 of the “detect” units (don’t do motion sensing, just open/close monitoring), plus a motion sensor, keypad, keyfob (not as fancy as their Tag, but lets you arm/disarm with a button press in range) and base station for ~$200.

Change ‘not’ to ‘now’ and it makes sense.

Toukiden: Kiwami and Toukiden 2 are MH-clones originally on PS3/PS4/Vita available on Steam, they are a bit more ‘straight forward’ than MH but very similar play style. Godeater 2 is on Steam, originally a PSP game I believe. New MMO coming called Dauntless which is very MH, only in alpha/beta at the moment though. If

Ditto. I’ve bought almost every MH clone that has been released on PC just to assist in showing the market exists! Been waiting for a real MH on my preferred platform a long, long time... I can wait a bit longer. I think.

Ha. Thank you =) I need to find a way to get spellcheck to work when typing in Japanese!

No, its not. Books are read that way sort of (you start at what we in the west would call the back, and read left page and then right page), text used to be read/written vertical, but these days everything written horizontally is left to right. こにちは!(That’s literally character for character, ko ni chi (w)a, left to

Yes... because the presidential election is super weird. The actual election in November is not -really- voting for the Presidential candidate, we’re voting for representatives to the electoral college who will vote for the president later on (all of whom have pledged support for a certain candidate, but... may or may

Windows 10 security updates seem intent on killing off my beloved zBoard Merc keyboard (google it, its glorious and long out of production!), a small diehard contingent of us still using it have been rolling back & disabling all security updates since. I fear the next big semi-annual update will knock it out for good.

Which operating system are you on? Its present on iOS, not sure on Android. I wouldn’t expect it on the web for a long time.

Interesting! When they added Japanese in May I jumped right in, and definitely learning a lot. But I also found out how much less developed the Japanese course is than many/most of their others. It’s lacking a lot of the stat tracking, discussions (which may be an iOS vs Android thing) and has far less content than

I used one of these, or a related model, for many years (Late 90s I think?). I loved it.

No urgent situation at the end, just going out to a friend’s house for a party. Friend lived in Utica, NY, a small city upstate. Nice little city, amazing food if you ever have the opportunity to get out that way, some of the most horrendous road layout known to mankind.

The only way both Google and Apple could find

Great photo! Can anyone explain what this place is selling/serving? Looks like a bar, but picking out (the very few) pieces I can read well enough to type into google translate... ホルモン = Hormone (from the middle right panel on top and the hanging cloth)? Very curious what this is now!

Certainly! How much time and pressure do you have? It’ll take a while....
