On the US configuration (which still doesn’t have prices, so who knows how accurate it is long term), the Momentum ONLY comes with the T6. So entirely possible to build one with the T6 and Plaid Seats. Impossible to build anything with a T5. Probably doesn’t hold true in other regions, Volvo loves to do wildly

Volvo offers heated windshields on most of its newer models in the US. However, they aren’t compatible with their HUD system, so its an either-or option. They might be trending away from them as they have moved the HUD into a more common package recently, rather than a stand alone option as it had been.

The program described in that Volvo copy is a very small pilot program of their much more advanced autonomous systems, which are much more in line with what Alphabet is doing with Waymo than what is actually available for purchase in any car today. Which would indeed be autonomous and a replacement for driving, just

Certainly, I’d consider one of those over an all electric. But then its not an all electric =) The Neutral question was about range anxiety around EVs... not PHEVs which don’t have that issue.

Range Anxiety, certainly has kept me away from electrics for the time being, though I love the concept. My first big issue with them is I live in the northeast, and winters as I understand it kill range, so that 200-250 mile range in summer becomes 120-150. For work I have to drive to a different office about 90 miles

They call it “Amazon Blue” which is a callback to the Volvo Amazon (1956-1970) which offered that baby blue color as an option.

1) The Flag...

Isn’t really on XC40s that are available to purchase though. It’s pretty annoying that it keeps getting called out, I do agree its very cool, but it was only on the first 1000 or so that rolled off the line, most of which ended up being press cars and UK First Edition cars. So all press folks see and

Most of the reviews point out that the XC40 comes with more standard equipment, at a lower price, and fully optioned out at a lower price, with better or identical power and mileage to all competitors (X1, GLA, Q3, etc).

“Expensive bar soap will still cost way less than bargain body wash.”

I find this to be true. After seeing some fancy bar soap at a nice hotel, which was some kind of fruit scented and had little seeds in (Apricot, for both it turns out), I found out I could buy that stuff on Amazon! It’s just over $6 a bar. Each bar

How many miles was your lease (I assume lease?) for at the $339. The Care by Volvo is 15,000 miles, which is well above what most folks get on a lease. Its not as good a deal if you don’t need the miles, but a great one if you do, and yes, insurance rates in your area are a big determining factor as well on the worth.

Yes, we’re aware. Its the same as a lease. Do people who lease know they don’t really own the car, and need to give it back at the end of the term? I think folks are comfortable with the idea....

That’s all base. The CBV specs are loaded. The Momentum option is 41.5K MSRP, has two packages. The R-Design option is loaded, with everything. 45K MSRP. So 3.5K in options, which is $135 a month over 24 months, only paying $100 for it. So yea, not as good a deal, but not as big a difference as you’re making it out

What term are you doing on those leases you’re comparing against? Care by Volvo is 15K per year, which really pushes a lease price up. Also the MSRP of the two available CBV specs is 41.5K for the Momentum and just under 45K for the R-Design. The page you linked to is giving base spec prices with no options and 10K

Really looking forward to this V60, specifically with those seats. Been playing in the builder for a while now, thinking I’d get it as my second Care by Volvo car!

Unfortunately Volvo hasn’t been able to get any of us early adopter Care by Volvo subscribers our cars yet, due to “paperwork” not yet being finalized, with

Television and movies have taught me that the only appropriate way to dispose of a cell phone is by a) removing the battery and SIM card, if applicable b) attempting to break it in some way (if a flip phone, snap at the hinge), optionally stomp on, c) throw from moving car.

You’re better off that way. Do not google.

Says that in the article even. “ It’s got drop in co-op, so if you wanted to take on a dungeon with your kid, your baby-sitee, or even just a buddy, it’s easy to do so.”

My hometown is a tiny town in way upstate NY. Until the late 90s we literally did not have many road names, or even numbers. So this was the only way to do directions! We also didn’t have many landmarks...

There was a big initiative in the late 90s to get road names, and also house numbers, because emergency services
