I’ve had those gloves. The touch sensitive part wears off over time (its like a coating they add on), and that length of time is significantly less than you might expect. Mine didn’t make it a full winter before they ceased to be useful on touch screens.

The phone cradle thing probably has options to switch out depending on your phone. Mini does a similar thing with the center armrest, optional phone dock inside it, specify your phone model and they’ll sell you a perfect fit cradle inlay. Sell being key, the inlays run $200-400.
