The previous Yaris built by Toyota was crap compared to its contemporary Mazda2. Toyota outsourced the last Yaris because they realized it.

Bravo!
You found a Kia dealer that doesn't suck?
Bmw is 4th after Alfa, Cadillac, and Jaguar. Really just splitting hairs apart from the first two, though.
Factor of safety is a thing. If they engineered enough margin for the worst debris case, then the issue is with whoever approved the location and direction of the run.
The question is: why did they leave?
The wife’s 2017 V60 was bought in 2018 for $21k with 19k miles (still warrantied), and the wagon goes for a premium. This is a $12k car.
People are doing mental gymnastics to explain what happened. It’s a lot easier to brush it off as a fake PR move than it is to admit truly heinous racism is alive in their community.
It’s not limited to women, though it's more common due to genetics. A lot of short men buy pickups for the same reason, and a lot of short men in a different measurement do the same.
My base V60 seat is more luxurious than any seat in any VW ever, except maybe the Phaeton. My wife sat in a top-trim Alltrack for 3 seconds before she asked, “WTF is this shit?”

Did the sound engineer fail hard, or does the SF90 really sound this bad?
Ford’s marketing isn’t smart enough for this to be on purpose, but they are absolutely dumb enough to keep this date even after someone realizes it.
Cadillac is trying, but they have no direction.
At least the Avenger was always cheap and form followed function. My fugly king is still the Bangle 7 series.
This is a hard pivot for an entire industry that's been making cars uglier for decades. I do hope they can evolve, though.
It’s a Vantage; it’ll depreciate sharply anyway. A bumper mod hurting resale (if it even does, since most will think it's an improvement, if they notice it at all) is a drop in the bucket.
