Where is the joke then? The joke behind most of this is "hahaha it's funny that they're gonna lose business when everyone thinks it's a gay bar"
How is that wrong? Someone reading that could easily go "Wow there's a glory hole in the bathroom?"

It actually is illegal. If you claim a business is doing something it isn't, and it hurts the business, then you are liable for damages. And even if these are done for humour, a lot of them seem to be trying to create a false idea of what the restaurant is doing, which is illegal.

I think what people mean is that it has very little to do with systematic misogyny. This was a very personalized misogyny from someone who felt extremely small, and was using hatred to not feel small. It wasn't the casual hatred of someone who is surrounded by contemptful messages about women.
This trend of diagnosing society based on the most abnormal, deranged acts really needs to stop. It's just stupid. It's the "availability heuristic" poking it's mentally-challenged head into discussions of serious issues.
