I tried hardtack at this summercamp/historical reenactment thing when I was a kid. If what I had was accurate, it’s pretty awful. It’s basically hard, tasteless bread.

The worst thing I was able to try was a tossup between pickled eel and jellied herring. Apparent people considered that food at one time.

I was raised in... a certain part of the country....and I knew of more than one e person that claimed to have actual Confederate uniforms they kept ready for when the time comes.

What’s amazing is when they didn’t rotoscope and just used the live action for motion reference. This is most notable when they were animating charactewrs that didn’t have human proportions, like the 7 Dwarves and Jiminy Cricket.

Clearly GOT is sharing logic over travel with 24 now. If 24 can travel from mexico to LA in under and hour or drive anywhere in LA in less than 15 minutes, GOT characters can bounce between continents like it ain’t no thang.

That casting is pretty much lightning in a bottle. The show’s producer probably realized how well she does certain things and built her lines and character around that.

Nothing comes easy in GOT and everything has a cost. 90% of this army will be slaughtered before the finale of the show.
