I think that song was the first song I downloaded off Napster.

I got FFXV, too. While I absolutely love it and have played almost constantly since Christmas, I am also aware of its many flaws. (And hey! I used the correct form of "its", unlike in my prominently displayed comment in the article.) I enjoy fighting single bosses, but fighting large groups of enemies can be

Ah, thanks for reminding me about Kentucky Route Zero. I didn't realize part 4 had been released - part 3 included the bar scene, right? I should play that over the break.

These are games that slipped through the cracks for me. I own all the Avernum games and maybe the Avandon games, but I've never taken the time to really get into them. I started one of them, but never got far.

I liked The Last Guardian because I have, and have always had, a dog. Okay, that's not the only reason (and there will be minor spoilers here), but that was a large reason. I've played both Ico and Shadow of the Colossus several times through, and I've been waiting for this third game since it's first announcement

There's still a part 2 coming. Also, why does it matter if someone likes a game that you don't?

I actually listened to it (not sure if it was this year or last) and then immediately listened to it again. It's length and density of ideas really lend itself to multiple readings. And after I read that, I also finally decided to pick up The New Jim Crow. That would my addition to this AV Club question. And now that

Yeah, there's so much emphasis on Barry and Oliver, but Kara and Sara deserve the same. Like Oliver and Barry, Kara has her own show; and while there's no "White Canary" show, Legends of Tomorrow is Sara's show.

I was thinking that, too. Cisco and Felicity would probably be pretty psyched to meet J'onn.

Embarrassing confession time: I know the salmon ladder didn't come up in this review, but it did last week. Even though I've read every AV Club review of this show, I never figured out what a salmon ladder was until last week. Until then, I always assumed it was some literary term I was unfamiliar with.

Well goddamn…I knew was going to be in trouble when I got a little emotional at Sara and Laurel's first hug. Coming in, I knew only that this episode was the second part of the crossover. I didn't know until I read this review that it was Arrow's 100th episode, so I really wasn't prepared for the heart-wrenching

They also messed with feudal Japan pretty heavily.

Plus, wouldn't a Felicity/Cisco/Winn team up be pretty fun?

They're also worried that Wally got his powers through Alchemy, which so far has caused problems for everyone else who got powers the same way.

I think the criticism was directed more at the network for advertising a "4-night crossover event", which is deliberately misleading, at best.

Better choices than Barry for leader: Oliver, Thea or Diggle (either would probably default to Oliver since he's kind of their leader anyway, but still, they would be better leaders than Barry), Kara (the only one with any alien experience), Sara, or Felicity.

Not sure how many people are reading these almost a week later, but I'm glad Danielle Panabaker finally got some actual acting to do. She was good this episode.

This was first week I really missed Cat Grant. I mean, I missed her before, but there were other plots (namely Alex's coming out) that filled in the emotional core of the story, and gave Kara a human side. This week, though, Kara spent almost the whole episode as Supergirl, and James gets a Guardian story straight out

I play too many video games. As soon as they hid behind the wagon of barrels, I thought, "Barrels blow up when they get shot!" I immediately realized how ridiculous that thought was…and then the barrels blew up.

I'll be continuing I Am Setsuna. It's beautiful and mesmerizing, if a bit repetitive. I enjoy the characters and story enough, though, to keep playing. My brother's also trying to get me to pick up Hero's Song which by all accounts has potential but it's "early-access" release is a bit too early. Still might be cool
