To my understanding after I have read two articles on this, it is very likely the gameplay will be updated as well. Things like better hotkeys, grouping, and other such luxuries would be included as they would fall under the category of “updated UI".

The article states that”messages” were sent. If it was a one time deal, probably would not have faced such extensive punishments. I think a psychiatrist evaluation would be beneficial, however, things like that aren’t free.
