For most users, isn't this due to DSL v. Cable? IIRC, DSL is guaranteed bandwidth, where as with cable the speed is what you'd get if you used the whole pipe at your local junction (be that a building, a block, or a city).

I'm quite the tech and I've never been able to navigate the XBMC user interface. Most people seem to just use a remote to get around the horrible keyboard and mouse(?) navigation. Anyone have any good cheatsheets? I use a DiNovo mini as my primary HTPC hid. #feature

Re: Update - I was gonna say that actually 9 month seems rather generous.
The store bought kinds are often made of PVCs which out gas toxic fumes when heated (dioxins.)
@Al Iguana: There's a bad habit. For something as crucial as your browser go straight to the source. This makes for one less chance for a virus infection.

@Bubkes: Cables. Synergy = no cables. My second computer is an imac so i just have 1 wire coming from it: the power cable. A KVM would require cables to it.
