First day of winter break after finishing up my first semester of grad school! I wanted to do something fun to celebrate, but I’m feeling kind of icky, so low-key Saturday it is.

This is The Black Cat! He is pretty shy, but he likes me because I captivated him with knitting. He loves to have his belly rubbed.

All I want is to not hear “Jingle Bell Rock” every other song.

I don’t particularly like it and something about it (especially in the not-pink colors) just screams “Star Trek”.

This was my thought too! Fried foods have never been very kind to me, even before I had my cholecystectomy.

From my (limited) experience, Disqus seems less convenient and I’m not a huge fan of the layout.

Marshmallows are alright, in their place, but that place is NOT ON SWEET POTATOES. * gags *

Excited to watch my boyfriend play this, not excited for the inevitable frustration. I try to provide moral and emotional support (and also suggestions for where to go next), but it certainly isn’t enough for Bloodborne.

I do have trouble finding new music, but it’s the result of a number of factors (pickiness, not liking change, having no idea where to go to find it, new song anxiety), and not of my gender.

I’ve seen a lot of Ugg-like boots lately. Also really bulky boots, sometimes with suede fringe. There’s strange footwear... afoot.

My gosh, this. My family has a conure who loves my mom... but only if she’s not wearing a hat. The minute a baseball cap goes on, she becomes Enemy #1.

One of his cats was kind of a monster, if I remember correctly!

Oof, yeah, no doubt. I like tobiko and wasabi (in reasonable quantities), but I’m not sure I could handle that.

Interesting! I haven’t encountered that before, but it makes sense.

Trying to figure out what this is. Colored salt? Dyed tobiko? Certainly doesn’t look like the typical wasabi paste you see.
