Don't waste your time using logic on stupid people. I mean c'mon, look who their leader is.

Not speaking as a white or black or man or woman, but as a Christian: that guy is in the wrong place.  He doesn’t have a church.  He never had a church.  And every moment he spent thinking that he did, he was wrong.  A church is a place of inclusion, not of possession.

It’s kind of like grabbing someone, chaining them up, throwing them in a boat, shipping them halfway across the world against their will, and then telling them to go back home.

It’s like racists are incapable of basic reasoning or something.

When the police stop being the enforcement arm of White Supremacy.

When they stop being racist, so never...

When are the police going to get serious about charging or at least fining people for making BS calls. This should be about a $500 fine when all the neighbor had to do is go next door, knock and say your lawn guy is over on my side of the property line.

Cali4life is with you. New York primaries are next Tuesday, and I’m going to vote after a funeral. I can’t even talk to a POC who can’t be bothered to get out of their chair and go vote, even though I’m well aware there’s been a longstanding Repugnican and Russian plan to try to beat us all into the submission of

Deeply rooted racism is part of it, but from an outsider (I’m Canadian) this also looks like a desperate attempt to cling tight to the lie that is the United States. A “nation of freedom” founded by slave-holding scum. A “shining beacon of liberty” built on the backs of slaves and after that shining beacon went to war

They don’t see it because they don’t want to.

They need to lock her up as an accessory to attempted murder.

They should both be arrested for attempted murder. The wife set this young boy up to be shot; the husband pulled the trigger.

If police shootings (of civilians or other police officers) were to be declared a federal crime (somehow), then whenever a police officer shoots a civilian or another police officer, that (federal crime) shooting would be investigated by a special branch of the FBI. Perhaps this (new) threat of federal prosecution

Even the ‘solider’ argument doesn’t work. Soldiers are bound to an international code of conduct to respect civilians of other countries, including those soldiers who have surrendered (and so are no longer combatants; in other words, ‘hands up, don’t shoot’ is international law) (see SRH, Appendix 4 to Annex C, page

For fear of unintended outcome, I wouldn’t call the cops if one of my loved ones was in mental distress. I’m white, but I vow to think twice before I call them for a person of color in mental distress. I’m not wearing my skin as obliviously as I used to.

Manziel seemed supportive in his tweets, though, and like he didn’t like the comparisons because he believed Kap was being treated unfairly for non-football reasons.

One possible ray of hope for Florida: Many Puerto Ricans displaced by the hurricane went to the Sunshine State. Hard to imagine them voting Republican.

And its not just lack of media representation for the students of color. That’s bad enough. The media also needs to take some responsibility for uplifting the Parkland students and constantly referring to them as brave and smart, while at the same time vilifying BLM, for basically saying the same thing.

I think that the best answer to the ‘cops feared for their lives’ people is that is part of their job. They are responsible for protecting lives, not taking them. Yes, their job is dangerous, but they owe it to the people in their area to do it right. This means not rushing into a situation, clearly identifying

If the cops were afraid, why did they have to chase this guy and fire at him when he was only suspected of some minor property damage/theft? If they think their life is truly in danger, maybe just let this one go. It’s not worth risking their lives or the suspect’s life on such low stakes. It’s not like they were

If the police don’t show any decorum or restraint, then whats the difference between how they or any citizen w/o training would act?
