Well “too high” is subjective. The equation SHOULD work this way: Price = cost of parts + cost of labor + profit. Unfortunately, with new technology, it goes like this: Price = cost of parts + cost of labor + profit + cost of resistance to adoption for a new technology. The last one is really hard to quantify without…
The biggest barrier to EV adoption is price point. Lower price points cannot be achieved without economies of scale. Its a chicken or the egg problem.
“For all of its talk about free markets and laissez-faire operations, Silicon Valley does seem to put a lot of work into silencing its workers.”
Last week I was in Mississippi. Gas was less than $2 a gallon. EVs are not going to happen with gas prices like that.

That study doesn’t base the numbers on the cost of treatment, but instead on the “value of a human life”, which considers a human life to be worth $11 million based on DOT numbers. They conclude from this that someone who…
The sad part, and not really stressed by Raphael, is that most of the known infections are not of people who attended. Those assholes are suffering in silence, with less than 300 confirmed sick and one dead.
Edit: Meh, never mind; everyone else has already made the “that guy is actually 27" joke, I’ll just take the L here and show myself out
That guy’s only 32, a steady diet of alcohol and cigarettes hit him hard.
They are not motorcycles they are lifestyles. 😁
Couldn’t this also be an indictment on the stupid cost of medicine in the US? I mean the people that went to Sturgis deserve every bit of illness and vitriol they have coming, but $46,000 per case? The whole thing is stupid, from beginning to end.
